Doesn't that bit about Russell not interacting with any other stars just confirm everything he says about journalism? There are photos all over the place
of Russell driving the beach buggy with his co-stars. Don't these people have eyes? But on a broader spectrum, the trivialization of the news was in
evidence last week when cable news went "All Michael Jackson, all the time." Our son said that it was a good thing they had that to cover, because
obviously there was nothing going on in the rest of the world.
To me cable news is much worse than print journalism, at least when you leave rags like the NY Post and that genre out. I don't watch cable news any more, because it is all infotainment and personality news and the so-called pundits. I really don't need these people telling me how I should think about the news. Just give me the hard news and let me make up my own mind. If I want a quick overview of the news, I will watch the network news. Otherwise, I rely on newspapers, the Internet, The Daily Show, and the Colbert Report. As for sushi, I don't love it, but I enjoy it occasionally. Our daughter and I embarrass Mr. Rabbit by ordering Philadelphia rolls and California rolls--the sushi for people who aren't crazy about sushi. "You can set fire to an actor's grandmother, but if you give him good notices, he'll figure out a way to regard the unfortunate grandma incident as an isolated lapse in judgment from an otherwise benevolent, discerning individual." What are you Ro, the weapons master? Throw me a fishhook- my weapon of choice against sushi. Now let's see how many hate sushi along with beets.LOL! I'm with Ro. I love sushi, ginger, etc. Yum!!! Send the "bait" our way! Actually, I have nothing against sushi. Why, I caught a perfectly good bass with a California roll one night - and then I ate him...after I fried him. Wait. Do they float? Maybe I could use one for a bobber for my fishing line? I like Ginger. And Fred. (I promise I haven't had a drop tonight) Please see below for my comment on contemporary TV news and infotainment in general. I reject your unbelievable bullshit.

Hey pass some of that sushi over this way! Love it.
CGee- that was a real heart stopper phone call. I'm glad Ross was not hurt too badly. That could have been much worse. Tell yourself that now he has been disaster-proofed. Maybe it will have the "Bordello Scene" as an extra !!!Now there's a fine idea. I bought a British version years ago just to have that scene but my old universal dvd player died and it would be nice to see it - the whole movie mind you, not just that scene - on the big t.v. I saw Cindy's comments about Up from yesterday. I loved it as well - took my dad to see it for Father's Day after the kids and I had seen it once - cried like a baby and laughed again. It's too good to miss and certainly not just for kids. Those writers and animators must have dogs. "I just met you and I love you!"
"Dug" the dog Karen - I am loving that the man who created Stuart Smalley is that last one over the line for a super majority!!
C'mon get happy! We'll make you happy!
