There's a blurb supposedly quoting Sienna Miller.... saying she doesn't hold a grudge over losing the Marion role and she thinks Cate is a great choice, as she's 10 years older than her. Hummmm... could it be she realized that her [or her people's] attempts to denigrate Russell via the gossip press may have backfired against her in Hollywood? That it did her no favors with the studios who will be doing future hiring? I dunno, but making a backhanded point of saying Cate was cast because she's older and therefore more appropriate to the re-written role doesn't exactly come across as gracious or a believable explanation. After all, an actor can easily be aged with makeup... no one seemed interested in doing that with Miller. She also said she would have been really bummed out if Keira Knightly had been hired instead.
She goes on to say she thinks there's a press vendetta aimed her way... that other people, none named, were dropped from the film but she's the only one getting the bad press. Just MHO, but it doesn't seem any of them [whoever they might be] were feeding negative stories to the gossip columns. There's no way of knowing if she personally contacted Page 6, I rather doubt it, but someone was trying to make excuses for her losing the Marion role by denigrating the star and the film, which caused bad press for the very expensive project. Being perceived as a troublemaker isn't a good career move if you want to be hired by the powers that make big films. I don't believe Miller has any new film projects in the pipeline since she was dropped from RH. Coincidence?

And a bit more here [much of it's gossipy, but has a few additional comments from an interview she did].... this mentions that she has been talking to Vogue... and suggests [their opinion] she really seems to need good PR representation since she doesn't seem to have it.
