Just getting us started today.
Not much Crowe news in the last few days, and maybe that's a good thing. Happy Belated Birthday to the bunnies, though.
On the film front, Sundance is this week. Maybe we'll get a couple of good indie movies emerging from the festival, though I'm sure the economy will
limit the number of films that get picked up. I'm hoping that Brief Interviews with Hideous Men (an adaptation of David Foster Wallace's
book) will see the light of day, because I'm a big fan of the writer. I didn't see how in the world somebody could adapt that, but John Krasinski, the
guy who plays Jim on The Office, apparently has done a good job. *fingers crossed*
We saw Gran Torino the other night. I was a bit cautious going in, thinking it was going to be one note - but it wasn't. The acting was spotty
in places, but it didn't ruin the story. We both enjoyed the film a lot - much more humor than I had anticipated. I really want to see Revolutionary
Road, as it has finally gotten here to East Gravelswitch.
